Why Simultaneous Zeeman Correction?
Both flame and furnace modes use an innovative simultaneous Zeeman design for superior background correction. This easy-to-use design employs two detectors to monitor parallel and perpendicular polarized beams at the same “instant”. This means the rapidly changing absorbances commonly found in graphite furnace can be easily and accurately corrected. And, unlike deuterium correction, Zeeman covers the entire wavelength range of the spectrometer, employs a single source and requires no alignment or intensity balancing, and of course can handle difficult structured background. |
